WHISPER 619, Inc. is founded by three like-minded women with diverse backgrounds that were united by a shared commitment to social justice, compassion, and sustainable change. We seek to dismantle systemic disparities amongst oppressed  populations within our social economic environment.

WHISPER 619, Inc. strives to eradicate social injustices that our black and brown people face within our educational system. We are not omitting those that are in need of assistance, but seek to culminate disparities among all who face adversities.

Each member of WHISPER 619, INC., brings a deeply unique reasons for joining this work, but we are social service providers, educators, advocates, and parents who have experienced firsthand the frustrations, injustices, and gaps in care and support—from inadequate accommodations in schools to structural barriers in housing, elder care, and child welfare. Instead of accepting these systemic failures, we chose to be the solution.

WHISPER 619, Inc. was born from lived experience, academic research, and professional resolve. Whether it’s a mother driven by her children’s struggles in the public school system or a practitioner seeking to embed integrity and dignity into social services, each of us came to WHISPER 619 because we saw a better way forward—and were determined to build it.

Like the elephants in Kamala Harris’s story—who instinctively circled to protect the most vulnerable when the earth shook—we, too, stand in a circle of action and accountability. We innovate, initiate, and advocate—not waiting for others to fix what we are capable of changing ourselves.
